I have to say that the only two on the list that I've seen are Brazil and Castle in the Sky, both of which i have absolutely loved. Brazil might be in my top twenty of all time. I do agree that most of the directors on the list are all amazing.

Haven't seen Goddard's Alphaville - but I'll take the recommendation under consideration. (I'm going through a French film phase.)
