No favorites, however. We're just gonna enjoy the show....all 5 hours of it.

FOR MILLIONS OF AMERICANS WHO CANNOT PUT FOOD ON THE TABLE, FILL UP THEIR GAS TANKS TO GO TO WORK AND PROVIDE MEDICINES AND PROVIDE MONEY FOR SCHOOL FOR THEIR CHILDREN

        THIS IS "MAKE BELIEVE" WORLD.

        ONLY IN AMERICA.

Not a chance of watching what was once a great show & a true judge of movies & acting. It's a waste of electricity รข;; I'm watching a movie of my choosing.

These people get paid millions to pretend to do incredible things that people who really did them got paid nothing in most cases, it's a sad comment on modern times. Go back to your make believe work and leave the news to real people who are truly interesting and not useless flakes sucking on the corporate tit.

John Stewart was incredibly ordinary. Zzzzzz.

I had no idea the Oscars were on last night.

                Did "The Transformers" win?

Enough money spent on clothing to attend that one simple event to feed a country. What a waste.

Looking at all the films nominated for all the categories, I realize that of them all, the only 2 which I saw were 'Sweeney Todd' (which I really enjoyed) and 'No Country For Old Men (which, being a Coen Brother film, I had to see in the theater). Hell, the only other movie I saw this last year was 300...and why that didn't win and win again, I don't know (loved it and was blown away).

From my miniscule movie experiences as well as my personal bias, 'No Country...' got what it deserved.

As for the Oscar program itself? I think it's been close to 20 years since I actually watched one of those stupid things
